Sand-coloured disc dotted with electric blue spots, usually resting on sand.
Spectacularly patterned and very photogenic. They rest on sandy bottoms during the day and hunt at night. The barbed tail carries venom, non-lethal but extremely painful. Stay calm if you see one and never block its escape route.
