Can beginners join?
Yes. Most sea trips welcome first-time snorkelers, families, and guests who want a relaxed day on the water.

If you are comparing Red Sea trips for the first time, this page answers the questions guests ask most before booking. The answers are general for sea trips in Egypt, not tied to one destination only.
Yes. Most sea trips welcome first-time snorkelers, families, and guests who want a relaxed day on the water.
Pickup, start times, weather adjustments, and meeting details are the most common practical questions before a trip.
Guests often ask about cash, online payments, cancellation rules, and what happens if plans change.
Basic swimming helps, but every guest gets a life vest and our crew stays close. Many first-time snorkelers join our trips with no swimming background and have a great day.
Mask, snorkel, fins and vest are all included. If you have your own kit you're welcome to bring it.
Safety first. If the captain cancels, you can reschedule for free or get a full refund. Light wind is normal and trips run.
Yes! Most of our trips welcome kids of all ages. We have child-size masks and vests, and our crew is great with kids.
Absolutely. We hold your spot when you book. Pay cash on the boat in USD or EGP, or by card via Stripe/PayPal online before the trip.
After booking we ask for your hotel name. The driver calls reception 10 minutes before arrival. Pickup is included on every trip listed.
Bring reef-safe sunscreen, a hat or rashguard, a towel, swimwear, water shoes if you have them, and a few dollars or euros for tips. We provide gear, lunch, water and soft drinks on board.
March to May and September to November are the sweet spots: water around 24-26°C, calmer sea, fewer crowds. June to August is hot on land (38°C+) but water hits 28°C and visibility peaks. December to February still works in Hurghada but a wetsuit helps.
No tour can promise wild animals. That said, our dolphin spots (Dolphin House in Hurghada, Samadai and Sataya in Marsa Alam) have resident pods with 70-90% sighting rates. Turtles at Abu Dabbab and Marsa Mubarak are seen on most trips. We never chase wildlife.
Hotel pickup and drop-off, all snorkel gear (mask, snorkel, fins, vest), a captain and an English-speaking guide, lunch on board, water and soft drinks, and any port fees. Dive sites in national parks (Ras Mohamed, Samadai) include the entry ticket too.
Yes. Tell us in the booking notes and we'll arrange it with the captain. The standard buffet always has rice, two cooked vegetables, fresh salad, hummus, baba ghanoush, fruit and bread, so most vegetarians are covered by default. Gluten-free is possible with advance notice.
Take a motion sickness pill 30 minutes before pickup if you're prone to it (we keep wristbands on board too). The Red Sea is normally very calm in the morning. If you do feel queasy, the captain anchors over a reef so the boat stops rocking, and you can get in the water, which usually settles it fast.
Yes, no extra charge. Bring a wrist tether so you don't drop it on the reef. Most boats have a charging socket for the trip back. We don't sell underwater photo packages, but the crew is happy to take a few shots from above if you hand them your phone.
